All parts go through a triple plating process to achieve the highest shine and clarity possible. Parts are stripped and glass bead blasted, polished to a high shine, thoroughly washed in alkaline cleaner, then hydrochloric acid and rinsed. Parts are then put into a copper bath, then a nickel bath, and the final layer is chrome. Below are photos of this process....
